A coalition environmental groups had appealed Privy Council have project stopped.
They argued project's environmental studies were flawed didn't conform regulations Belize.
Stan Marshall, chief executive officer Fortis, called ruling victory company people Belize, who he said support dam.
"I welcomed court challenge," said Marshall. "In seven eight court cases, haven't won one, now legal process over."
The project should completed within next 12 months, he said.
