Dear Dr. Canton,

We write you members Cayo Tour Guide Association request Public Utilities Commission (PUC) reconsider its decision approve license Fortis-BECOL build Chalillo dam on Macal River.

We are dependent on country's spectacular natural beauty cultural heritage livlihoods. One four Belizeans employed tourism-related occupation. Chalillo dam could affect Macal River, one main attractions area

We are concerned design dam has not been made available, nor know what added costs will what plans are releasing flow water river. How can know what effects dam will have on river, potentially on safety people, both those us who live downstream visitors take up down river.

We not feel has been reasonable consideration concerns, are hopeful PUC would least hold public inquiry and/or public hearing allow wise intelligent decision, based on facts, not promises.

Sincerely,
Members Cayo Tour Guide Association
