Put Your Stock in Us
Donate stocks and bonds Accountants' advice News articlesA change to Canada's income tax system provides tax advantages for those who donate stocks or bonds instead of cash. This tax change reduces the capital gains that donors would otherwise face and benefits people who hold securities that have appreciated substantially. For more information, please see the accountants' advice or the following news articles which provide more background on the tax benefits of donating stock or e-mail Lawrence Solomon, Energy Probe Research Foundation's Managing Director, or call 1-800-26-EARTH ext. 241 (in Toronto (416) 964-9223 ext. 241).
